Hello!
We're Katrina and Casey.
We are Early Childhood Teachers from Newcastle, Australia with over 29 years of combined teaching experience in Early Childhood Education and Primary Teaching. Through our own parenting journeys and our teaching experience, we have developed a passion for Early Childhood Education and delight in the joy that sensory and sustainable play brings to children as it allows them to develop a positive disposition for lifelong learning.
Our Journey so far
Driven by a commitment to Early Education and sustainable play resources, we launched our first product, the Baby Sensory Playbox, in 2022. Inspired by the challenge of finding an open-ended, play-based, and sustainable baby shower gift, we chose to develop our own educational solution.
We are continuing to develop our vision for educational play resources alongside our teaching role. We are always reflecting and looking for ways to design more sustainable play options.
Our Philosophy
At the heart of The KC Way lies the belief that children learn best through hands-on exploration, curiosity, and open-ended play.
We are committed to offering high-quality educational and eco-friendly resources that inspire a love of learning and support each child’s unique journey.
With a sustainably conscious mind, we aim to produce resources that are kinder to the planet whilst still being educational.
